KACV-TV is extremely conscious of the need to preserve local history through local production. You can find programs on KACV about our area produced right here where we live.  How do we do it?  We have the resources and the time to present 30 minute and hour long shows  focusing on current local issues, highlighting  talented local performers and documenting our diverse local history. When you watch a KACV production, whether it’s a candidate’s forum, a story about an area  athlete, or a documentary chronicling millions of years of life in the Texas Panhandle, you will see why KACV is an asset to our community.  We, as stewards of this broadcast facility, take the job of telling these stories very seriously.  Our goal remains to inform, inspire and entertain. Remember, YOU are the ones who make these programs possible.  Thank you for watching and for your continued support of Public Television in the Texas Panhandle.
